She Has a Name- a must see human trafficking play

A few weeks ago I saw the play She Has a Name by Andrew Kooman. Human trafficking has been one of those things I’ve been passionate about for years, I’m on the board of a human trafficking organization, read about it, etc… So I thought, perhaps I should go see a play! The play was fantastic, eye opening, real and even better than I imagined. Most of the time I was fighting my tears… I looked over to my sister at the end who was just uncontrollably sobbing. The play leaves you feeling sad but also very challenged about what we can do to be the change. It was a humbling reminder that human trafficking is real and is happening all over our world. It also reminded me of how difficult human trafficking is to fight and how it’s something we seriously, SERIOUSLY need to be praying for.

I highly recommend you go see it with some friends and then start praying for this injustice.

It’s playing in cities across Canada until early October…. see when they’ll be in your city or a city near you!
