Update From Mission Fest – Montreal

Bernice (from the Montreal 24-7 Community) gives this report:

“Well, this past Friday night, our team decided to split up after setting up the prayer room at missions fest!

Woohoo! Missionfest was this weekend at the Brebeuf college in our neighborhood. Daria, Matthew and Dom headed downtown as a trio this time to walk and pray in the cold night. I have yet to hear more about the details but I know the gang did meet a new face.

Caroline, Alfredo, Amelie, Marie-line, her friend, and I stayed back to finish up in the room and we were very hopeful for the space when we were done. It came together so well and our team is amazing!

We took the room down this afternoon and we are all pooped but happy about how the space turned out. People were blessed and the spirit moved for sure. We got to meet some new people and we prayed with other parts of the church. We even had two young ladies sign up to join us on our Friday night adventures this next week!

Daria and I led the two workshops that were held Saturday morning: one in French and the other in English. We briefly explained who we were and what the purpose of the room was. Both groups stayed for most of the hour allotted to our workshops to pray and create and dwell in the spirit. Awesome time. I am glad I got to spend time in the room.”
